The Carmel on Canvas Plein Air Painting Event provides artists with three days of plein air painting, within the Carmel Arts & Design District. Early registration is $40 and registration the days of the event will be $50. We are awarding a full of $5,000 in awards with any sales going 100% to artists. Artists may paint Fri and Sat and submit one framed work for judging at the Artist'southward Reception Sat at the Indiana Blueprint Center. Porchfest

PorchFest Video (2019)

All participants, including bands, homeowners and organizers, are comprised of volunteers from the Carmel and surrounding areas.

Veterans Day

Traditionally, the Carmel Veterans Day ceremony is held at noon the business organisation day before Veterans Day
(which allows our local veterans to participate in other regional ceremonies held on Veterans Day)
This event is complimentary and open to the public (No ticketing is required).

The City of Carmel, Mayor Jim Brainard and members of local veterans organizations, work together to host an annual Veterans Mean solar day Ceremony, a community event in award of our veterans. The anniversary pays tribute and thank you those who served our country in order for us to enjoy the freedoms that nosotros take today.
The elementary grades, K-v, participate in the poster contest and heart school students grades, six-8, write essays to enter into the contest. One student is selected from each class level to attend the ceremony and present their poster or essay during the event.
